DANVILLE, Ky. - Transy Field Hockey lost their second overtime game in a row, this time on the road at Centre College. The loss moves the Pioneers to 2-3 on the season.
The Pioneers struck first in the matchup, with
Sidney Aldridge scoring her third goal of the season after coming off of the bench.
The 1-0 was short lived as Meghan Speth tied the game just over a minute later, her first of what would be two goals in the game. The Centre offense was aggressive all night vs Transy, out-shooting TU 28-4 in the game.

Libby Bringard had 8 saves in the game, and the defense totaled 17, with the most (6) coming in the second period. Bringard's save percentage is now .839 on the season.
Transy overcame 19 Centre penalty corners, with the defense stepping up to keep the Pioneers in the game and giving the offense an opportunity to capitalize.
After four periods, the Pioneers found themselves in the second straight overtime game. Centre's Meghan Speth scored the game winning goal with just over a minute left in overtime.
Transy begins their road trip 0-1 and heads to Virginia this weekend to end the road trip with matches against Southern Virginia and Eastern Mennonite on Friday and Saturday.
