LEXINGTON - #16 Transy Volleyball won its 7th straight game, sweeping in state foe Spalding University in a lopsided victory. It was the Pioneers largest margins of victory this season. Transy defeated the Golden Eagles 25-10, 25-16, and 25-8.

Ava Beltsos for career milestone achievements. Last weekend, Grace accomplished what only four other Transy Volleyball players have done in program history, reaching 3,000 assists. Grace currently sits at third all time with 3,336 assists.

Ava Beltsos reached 1,000 career digs in last week's win over Muskingum. She currently sits in 9th all time in program history with 1,046 digs.

Transy outscored Spalding 60 to 22 in points and out hit them .292 to -.054. The Pioneers had a season high in aces with 14, with
Grace Ward leading the way with a season high 5 aces. She finished the match with 27 assists.
The Golden Eagles couldn't gather any momentum on the floor tonight. Their longest consecutive run was two points, while the Pioneers was eight, also a season high.
The win over Spalding moved Transy to 4-0 all time vs the Golden Eagles. It is the third time that the Pioneers have swept Spalding and the second time in a row.
Cate Scheper reached 1,000 career kills in the win tonight, becoming the 7th Pioneer to accomplish the feat. The junior currently ranks 7th all time in kills and ranks in the top 10 in NCAA DIII in active career kills.

Amy Barmore said. "She has tons of milestones ahead of her and excited to see what she can do. The team came together tonight and got the job done. We have a big weekend ahead of us and we fine tuned some things tonight to prepare."
Transy has their toughest stretch of the season ahead of them this weekend in the Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational. They'll face four top-ten opponents, starting with #3 Wisconsin Oshkosh this Friday at 4 PM.
