LEXINGTON - Transy Field Hockey dropped their second NCAC game of the weekend, this time to Washington and Jefferson 0-3. The Presidents outshot Transy 7-5 on the afternoon. It was the second game in a row that the Pioneers were shutout.
The Pioneer defense scrapped with the W&J offense all afternoon, going against fifteen penalty corners. Washington and Jefferson scored their first goal of the game with just under 30 seconds to play in the second quarter off a penalty corner by Hailey Wachochiak. She scored the Presidents' final goal of the game in the fourth quarter.
Sidney Aldridge had the only two shots on goal for Transy.
Transy (3-6, 0-2 NCAC) continue their home stand next week and NCAC play with Denison next Saturday at 11 AM at Pat Deacon Stadium.
