Aubrey Rahiya scored her first goal of the season and second career goal with just under a minute and a half left to play. The goal gave Transy one last chance to tie the game.

Libby Bringard kept her team in the game, stopping eleven of the thirteen shots she faced on the afternoon.
WestConn controlled a majority of play, outshooting Transy 17-5 and having the advantage on corners, 10-5.
WestConn's first goal came at 6:39 into the game, and the second came less than two minutes later on a low shot towards the left post.
Both Transy and Western Connecticut picked up the intense defensively, with neither team getting a shot off until the final moments of the third quarter.
WestConn was able to hold off the late Transy push for a 2-1 win. Transy moves to 1-1 on the season and have their first home matchup this Wednesday vs Wittenberg at Pat Deacon Stadium, starting at 7 PM.
