Lexington- The Women's Tennis team was back in action, finishing the last day of the Transy Winter Invite as the Pioneers faced Ohio Northern University. In a day of closely decided matches the Pioneers fell short today losing to ONU 3-6. 

In doubles the Pioneers weren't as fortunate as yesterday, only winning in #1 Doubles as Grace Gardner and Katherine Taylor would win 8-5. 

Taylor would ride this momentum into her #1 singles match, winning that in 2 sets going 6-3, 6-2. Maria Hayes would be the only other Pioneer to win her singles match, winning #3 singles in 2 sets going 6-3, 6-4.

The Pioneers will be back on the courts March 3rd, as they will travel to Greencastle Indiana to play DePauw University at 10am.
