ANDERSON, Ind. - The no. 2 ranked Transylvania Women's Basketball team remained undefeated this season with a convincing 76-49 victory on the road against Anderson University. 15 different Pioneers scored in the win.

There was no drama in the win, as Transy (21-0, 14-0) jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead in the first quarter, and was soon a 24-2 quarter. It's the lowest the Pioneers have held an opponent in any quarter this season.

The Pioneers led 41-19 after the half, and were up by as much as 28 points in the second quarter (30-2). Transy's largest lead of the game came with 0:49 seconds left in the 3rd quarter where they led by 35 after a Riley Flinn free throw.

With the win, Transylvania earned their 54th consecutive win and passes Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham's 53 game win streak set between 2013-2015. Transylvania now holds the 7th longest win streak in NCAA DIII history and the 11th longest win streak in NCAA history.

Laken Ball joined the 1,000 point club with her 2nd basket of the game. She made a layup off an assist from teammate Dasia Thornton, another active member of the 1,000 point club. Ball finished the game with 6 points and 2 rebounds. She is now the 3rd active Pioneer to score 1,000 points and grab 500 rebounds.

Dasia Thornton became the 2nd Pioneer in program history to score 1,000 points and grab 900 rebounds in a career (Elaine Russell '98). With Dasia's 3rd rebound in the win, she reached the milestone. She finished the game with 13 points and 5 rebounds.

After the game Head Coach Juli Fulks talked about both Ball and Thornton.

"For five years, Dasia and Laken have worked to build chemistry on the court and become one of the best 4 / 5 combos in the country. It's great to watch them reach these milestones as many of the points have come from their ability to play together and complement each other's strengths."

Thornton and Ball have combined for 1,409 rebounds and 2,248 points.

Sadie Wurth, Sydney Wright, Sierra Kemelgor, Kennedy Harris, and Laken Ball all scored 6 points in the win. Freshman Raegan Barrett finished the game with a season high 7 points.

Juli Fulks earned her 390th career coaching win.
