LEXINGTON- The Transylvania Men's Lacrosse team played this afternoon on the first official day of Spring Break week here in Lexington. The Pioneers had a hard fought game against the Rhodes College Lynx, where the Pioneers would lose 6-12. This would move the Pioneers to 2-4 on the season as they look to Albion Wednesday.

This game would be fast paced all 60 minutes as both teams would have a flurry of shots, Transy totaling 43 shots. Both teams would total 14 saves on the day as Ben Pund would rack up 14 saves, earning him a new career high, matching his season debut against Seawnee. 

Andrew Welch would lead the Pioneers in scoring today, having himself a hat trick as 2 of his 3 goals came on man up opportunities with Transy going 2-5 on man up today. Kade Kruger, Luke Hinton, and Casey Fagan would all have 1 goal today giving the Pioneers their remaining goals. This game would see outstanding clearing as the Pioneers would do so with a 92% efficiency. 

The Pioneers will play Wednesday, March 13 at 5PM against Albion in Michigan.
