BEREA, KY - Transylvania traveled to conference opponent, Berea, on Wednesday night to face off against The Mountaineers. The Pioneers controlled possession in majority of the fixture and walked away with a commanding 4-0 victory.Â
Transylvania's offensive pressure began early with a shot by
Reagan Johansen in the opening five minutes. After multiple Pioneer shots testing Berea's goalie,
Ellie Held found
Isabella White for the opening goal in the 19th minute. Just two minutes later, White would again find the back of the net for her second brace in two games.Â
10 minutes into the second period, Transylvania continued their offensive momentum
Shelby Eidson found
Gracie Carrigan for the third goal of the match. In the 75th minute,
Shelby Eidson scored the final Transylvania goal of the match, putting the Pioneers up four.Â
Transylvania is looking to continue their momentum as they head north to Earlham College on Saturday in Richmond, IN. The Pioneers will face off against the Quakers at 1 PM. Live Stats and Live Video will be available on transysports.com.Â
