LEXINGTON, KY - Transylvania University picked up their fourth consecutive win in a 17-8 victory over Adrian at Pat Deacon Stadium on Monday. 

Kade Kruger led the way for the Pioneers with four goals on five shots. Huck Campbell scored three goals for Transylvania while Samuel Archer, Luke Larish and Josh Harney each scored two goals. Ben Gaccino, RJ Young, Ryan Geisler and Jack Miller also scored for the Pioneers. Grayson Pham had a strong performance, recording eight ground balls while Briggs Beck and Huck Campbell each recorded four. Nick DeGrandi had another strong performance in the goal for the Pioneers coming off of two consecutive weeks as Heartland Defensive Player of the Week, recording ten saves in the win. 

The Pioneers offense started early, as they scored six goals in the opening quarter. The strong offense would continue throughout the evening as Transylvania recorded nineteen more shots than Adrian (49-30). Transylvania also outperformed Adrian in ground balls (29-18) and face offs (14-11). 

"Tonight was a great team win for us over a talented Adrian team," said Head Coach Logan Otto after the win. "We knew they can play at a very high level against some of the best teams in the country. I am super proud of our face off group as well as the play of our team on both sides of the ball. We played team offense and defense collectively tonight."

Transylvania returns to Pat Deacon Stadium for another home match up on Thursday, as the Pioneers host Albion at 5:00 p.m.
