ANDERSON, IN - Transylvania picked up another HCAC victory, defeating Anderson 5-2 on Sunday.
In doubles, Maria Hayes and Katherine Taylor led the way with a 6-1 win over Ella Frantz and Kate Oberle.
Lilly Hartman and Paulina Razo-Zapata followed with an identical 6-1 victory over Ella Maiden and Gabby Hosier.
Transylvania earned another doubles victory by Ellie Held and Maddy Williams, defeating Abigail Cunningham and Paula Torrent by a score of 6-2.
In singles, Katherine Taylor delivered a strong performance, defeating Ella Frantz in straight sets, 6-1, 6-2.
Ellie Held followed with a strong showing, blanking Kate Oberle 6-0, 6-0.
Maddy Williams battled through a competitive second set to take down Ella Maiden 6-0, 7-6, adding another point for the Pioneers.
Lilly Hartman also notched a win for Transylvania, holding off Paula Torrent 6-2, 6-4 in a steady effort.
The Ravens picked up a win at the No. 3 spot, where Gabby Hosier defeated Maria Hayes 7-5, 6-1.
Anderson's Abigail Cunningham earned a victory in a hard-fought battle with Paulina Razo-Zapata.
Transylvania returns to action on Saturday, April 26th for senior day as the Pioneers host Rose Hulman.
