CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women's Tennis teams competed in week fifteen of the 2024-25 season. This weekend,
Katherine Taylor dominated against two in conference opponents, Earlham and Anderson. Taylor went 4-0 at one singles and one doubles over the course of the weekend.

- Abby Cunningham (Monroe City, Ind.) Anderson University | First Year - Abby Cunningham went 5-1 on the week. She went 3-0 at No. 2 singles and 2-1 at No. 2 doubles.
- Vanessa Akuaku (Accra, Ghana) Earlham College | First Year - Vanessa Akuaku had a 2-0 record this week at No.1 singles, and a 2-1 record at No.1 doubles as the Quakers went 2-1 in three matches played. Akuaku started the weekend off with a win at No.1 singles 6-0, 6-0 against Hanover, she fell at No.2 singles against Transylvania with an injury retirement. On Sunday against Olivet, Akuaku won at No.1 singles 6-1, 6-1. In doubles play, Akuaku teamed up with Lawrencia Manu for a 7-5 win over Hanover, 6-4 loss to Transylvania, and a 6-3 win over Olivet.
- Mattie Foster (Hope, Ind.) Franklin College | First Year - Foster went 3-0 in singles play and 2-1 in doubles action for Franklin over three matches last weekend…claimed Franklin's lone point on Friday against Anderson with a 6-0, 6-2 win at five singles…won both her singles matches at No. 4 singles on Saturday afternoon, taking a 6-0, 6-0 win over Manchester and a 6-4, 6-4 victory against Grace Christian…won both doubles matches at No. 3 doubles on Saturday as well.
- Anna Hollingsworth (New Castle, Ind.) Manchester University | Senior - Hollingsworth picked up her first win of the season against Grace Christian College at the number 2 spot for the Spartans, winning 6-2, 5-7, and 1-0 (9) in tiebreaker. Hollingsworth picked up a crucial win for the Spartans to finish out their Tri-Match on Saturday.
- Julia Burt (Nashville, Ind.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | First Year - Julia Burt won a competitive match in the Fightin' Engineers' loss to Wheaton, 6-1. Burt claimed a win at No. 6 singles with scores of 5-7, 6-3, 1-0 (10-7).
