DELAWARE, OH - Transylvania Field Hockey traveled Wednesday for a match up with Ohio Wesleyan University (OWU), with the Pioneers falling to the Battling Bishops 9-0.Â
Sofie Garrett found a shot opportunity for Transylvania in the closing seconds of the second quarter, but was unable to score.
Peyton Steinriede recorded five saves for the Pioneers in the goal,
Ruby Himes also recorded a save in the goal. Transylvania returns to the road on Saturday, September 13th, for a match up with Oberlin at noon. They will also take on The College of Wooster during the road trip on Sunday at noon, before returning to Lexington for their home opener with Kenyon College on Saturday, September 27th at 11:00 a.m.
