ADA, OH — Transylvania fell to Ohio Northern 9–6 on Saturday afternoon. 

Josh Harney led the Pioneers with four goals, while Charlie Horner and Ben Gaccino each added a goal. Gaccino also contributed an assist. Huck Campbell recorded two assists, and Andrew Welch added one.

Transylvania trailed 5–2 at halftime before scoring four goals in the third quarter to cut the deficit to one. However, Ohio Northern responded late in the period and added an insurance goal in the fourth to secure the win.

Nick DeGrandi made 11 saves in goal for the Pioneers.

Transylvania finished with 32 shots and 34 ground balls in the contest. The Pioneers return to action at Pat Deacon Stadium on Saturday, April 18th, to host Hanover College.
