MADISON, IN - Transylvania Cross Country traveled to Madison, Indiana to compete at the Hanover XC Invitational against multiple Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference teams.

The women raced first, competing over a distance of 5,000 meters and traversing a variety of terrain. Freshman Sophie Bolin led the Pioneers, finishing 10th overall. Junior Kelsey Weil followed closely behind, placing 12th overall.

The men raced second, competing over a distance of 6,000 meters. Freshmen Andrew Feeback and Landon Harney both turned in solid performances, putting their second collegiate races under their belts.

Up next, the Pios will take a short hiatus from competition, providing a valuable opportunity for three weeks of consistent training. They return to the course on October 3 at Tom Sawyer Park in Louisville, Kentucky, for the Louisville XC Classic.
