LOUISVILLE, KY - This Saturday, the Pioneers traveled to Tom Sawyer Park to compete against a very talented field of runners in the Live in Lou Classic. The women were led by freshman Ella Detjen, who placed 39th overall, and the men were led by freshman Xander Harris, who placed 137th overall. 

Women's 6K Blue Results:
39th: Ella Detjen - 22:54.9
125th: Kaycee Moore - 24:05.6
256th: Ellie Thornsbury - 25:19.5
271th: Gwyneth Cunningham - 25:30.3
279th: Libby Perkins - 25:34.3
329th: Margaret Simmons - 26:26.9

Men's 8K Silver Results:
137th: Xander Harris - 29:44.6 
190th: Nate Rogers - 31:54.1
194th: Hayden Veach - 32:12.6
235th: George Thacker: 37:42.8

When asked how he felt the race went, Coach Matt Andrews said, "Not our best day from a results perspective in Louisville but I think we gained an experience that will ultimately help our teams as we enter the second half of the season."

The Pioneers will be back after fall break for the last chance to race before the HCAC Championships on Friday, October 17th at the Angel Mounds Invitational!
