Transy (0-2) dropped a 9-4 decision to Blue Mountain in its second game of the 2011 season later on Saturday.
Alicia Winans had Transy's only hit against Rhodes, a one-out double in the sixth inning.
Megan Mitchell drew a walk for the only other Pioneer runner to reach base.

Olivia Wall entered the game with two outs in the third and pitched the rest of the way, fanning five and walking none.
Rhodes scored three more runs in the fourth before being shut out the rest of the way.
The Pioneers, ranked 19th in the country, are back in action in the Rhodes Invitational on Sunday, meeting Huntingdon at 11 a.m. and No. 7 Washington-St. Louis at 3 p.m.
