Box Score 2 MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Transylvania rallied for three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning and wound up with a 4-4 tie against No. 7 Washington University Sunday in a contest called due to darkness in the Rhodes Invitational Tournament.
Transy (1-2-1), ranked No. 19 in the nation, defeated Huntingdon 10-5 in its first game Sunday.
The Pioneers trailed the Bears 4-0 heading into the bottom of the fifth. They got one run in the fifth on
Emily McCarty's two-out run-scoring hit to centerfield.
Transy tied the score in the sixth.

Kaitlyn Kallenborn each added run-scoring groundouts.
Olivia Wall started for Transy and went 4 and 2/3 innings, giving up four runs on eight hits with two strikeouts and one walk.
Kaitlyn Foree finished up with 2 and 1/3 scoreless frames, walking one and fanning one.
Mitchell had two hits, including a double, and
Michelle Ladanyi also had a two-base hit for the Pioneers. Each team had eight hits on the afternoon.
In the Huntingdon game,
Anne Broadhead led the attack with three hits, three RBI, and two runs while had two hits and two runs.
Olivia Wall got the win, allowing eight hits and one earned run. She struck out six and walked three.
The Pioneers return to action on Saturday, playing in the Maryville Invitational. The Pioneers will play Maryville and LaGrange, beginning a 9 a.m.
