Evan Rhea slugged a home run and drove in three Tuesday, leading the Pioneers to an 11-4 win over Centre in college baseball action.
Transy is 2-1 on the seasn while the Colonels are 4-7.
The Pioneers took the lead with a six-run third inning, which included Rhea's three-run homer. After Centre climbed back into the contest with three runs in the bottom of the fourth, Transy blew it open with four runs in the fifth.
Transy finished with 10 hits to five for Centre, which was also hurt by three errors.
Taylor Bugh won his second game of the year with four innings of work, allowing four hits and three earned runs.
Chris Bloch added three innings of one-run relief to get the save.
Drew Zuckerman had two hits and drove in two runs while scoring two more while
Ben Kuebbing added one hit and two RBI.
Transy will head to Auburndale, Fla., to compete in the Russ Matt Invitational during Spring Break, March 13-18. The Pioneers open with a doubleheader against Franklin & Marshall on Sunday.
