CINCINNATI, Ohio - Mt. St. Joseph scored the winning goal with under three minutes to play Tuesday and took a 9-3 women's lacrosse win over Transylvania.
The Pioneers are 3-4 on the season while the Lions are 4-2.
Transy led at halftime, 5-3, only to see Mt. St. Joseph take the final 30 minutes by a margin of 6-3.
Aubrey Bausum scored seven goals for Transy, including the game-tying score with 5:22 to play.
Rachel Harrison scored the other Transy goal.
Lydia Shaughnessy had 10 saves for the Pioneers, five in each half.
MSJ had a 29-21 edge in shots while the Pioneers led 20-16 in ground balls. Transy had 26 turnovers to 25 for the Lions.
Transy is back in action on Friday when it hosts Huntingdon at 4 p.m. at Thomas Field.
