TERRE HAUTE, IN - Transylvania recorded a milestone day Saturday at Rose-Hulman. In addition to picking up their first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) victory, four Pioneers reached career highs in the win.

Rose-Hulman claimed the opening set 25-22, but Transylvania rallied with two strong victories in set two and set three. In set two, a 25-13 win, the Pioneers closed with eight consecutive points. Alex O'Connor recorded four aces, while Isabella Myers recorded two kills in the closing run of set two.

Transylvania utilized a 6-0 run to take a 10-2 advantage early in the third set, it would be a kill from Addie Atcher and a block from Chloe Jensen and Peyton Mast to close the set win. Rose-Hulman responded to claim set four in a thriller, 29-27, but the Pioneers would close the victory in set five with a 25-8 win.

The Pioneers opened the final set with a kill from Myers, two aces from Julia Brown and an attack error to take a 4-0 lead. Peyton Mast and Macy Lentz recorded consecutive kills after a service error gave Rose-Hulman their first point of the set. After Rose-Hulman pulled to within one at 7-6, Transylvania scored seven of the following eight points with a block from Lentz and Cecelia Roberts, an ace from Roberts and three kills from Atcher. Mast and Jensen would again record the final point to claim a set, scoring a block to give the Pioneers a 15-8 set win and a 3-2 victory.
