SPRINGFIELD, OHIO - Transylvania University earned a 6-1 victory at Wittenberg on Saturday. The Pioneers picked up every victory in singles competition and one victory in doubles.Â
Jordan Cordrey and
Tobias Mandeville picked up the victory in the doubles, while
Ravi Tedeschi,
Jacob Jiranek, Alejandro Perez,
Chase Moreman,
Tobias Mandeville and
Luke Earlywine earned victories in singles competition.Â
"The guys responded to adversity with toughness and spirit today," said Head Coach
Kevin Calhoun. "Wittenberg played great doubles, but we competed really well in the singles. We are looking forward to another challenge tomorrow with Otterbein."
Transylvania returns to action Sunday to take on Otterbein.Â
