BEREA, KY - Transylvania earned a strong 6-1 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) victory over Anderson on Saturday. 

In doubles competition, the Pioneers won two of their three matches. 

Jackson Fischer & Jacob Jiranek defeated Martin Suarez & Pedro Alves Sette: 6–4.

Chase Moreman & Alejandro Perez defeated Luis Angel Guerrero Lara & Davis Borders: 6–3.

Jordan Cordrey & Tobias Mandeville lost to Dylan Lemon & Pedro Werneck: 3–6. 

In singles competition, Transylvania had another strong set of performances. 

Jackson Fischer defeated Martin Suarez: 6–3, 6–3. 

Ravi Tedeschi defeated Arturo Mendoza: 6–3, 7–5. 

Jacob Jiranek defeated Pedro Alves Sette: 7–6, 6–0. 
Alejandro Perez defeated Luis Angel Guerrero Lara: 6–1, 4–6, 6–1. 
Chase Moreman defeated Davis Borders: 6–4, 6–3.
Tobias Mandeville lost to Dylan Lemon: 6–2, 5–7. 

Transylvania travels to Lookout Mountain in Georgia to take on Covenant College on Tuesday, April 22nd.
