CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) men's lacrosse teams competed in week five of the 2026 season.

Braden Antle (Louisville, Ky.) Transylvania University | Faceoff Midfielder | Freshman -
Braden Antle dominated at the faceoff dot in Transylvania's 18–12 win over DePauw. Antle went 24-of-32 (75.0 percent) on faceoffs while collecting a game-high 12 ground balls, consistently giving the Pioneers possession and momentum throughout the contest.
Notable Performances:
- Payton Bliss (Tully, N.Y.) Alfred State College | Goalkeeper | Sophomore - Payton Bliss went 2-0 on the week as he tallied 23 saves with a .563 save percentage. In the game against Brevard he tallied 15 saves, he followed with eight saves against Oglethorpe.
- Matthew Bridges (Lake View, N.Y.) Alfred State College | Attack | Freshman - Matthew Bridges led the Alfred State offense with 12 goals, six assists, nine groundballs, and six caused turnovers. He opened the week with eight goals and two assists against Brevard and followed with four goals and four assists.
- Jack Deweese (Indianapolis, Ind.) Hanover College | Attack | Freshman - Jack DeWeese led Hanover as it took on Benedictine and Wash. & Jefferson. The first year was dominant, scoring 11 goals with five assists for a combined 16 points. He added 29 shots and four ground balls. In the overtime loss against Benedictine, he scored with 53 seconds remaining despite being double teamed.
- Mathew Hillard (Berea, Ky.) Hanover College | Goalkeeper | Sophomore - Mathew Hillard led the Panthers in frame going 1-1 on the week with 24 saves through 108 minutes of action. He posted a 57.1 save percentage.
