Albert “Al” Prewitt ’57 was a topathlete during his Transylvania career, starring in basketball andbaseball. He was named to the All-Kentucky Intercollegiate AthleticConference team four times in basketball while scoring 1,424points. Prewitt was named male Pioneer Athlete of the Year in 1956.He also served as an assistant men’s basketball coach atTransylvania.
