Mary Helen Crutcher Orth ’49 played field hockey,basketball, and tennis at Transylvania. She won the state archerychampionship in 1946 and 1947 and was a member of the statechampionship badminton doubles team in1947. The Women’sAthletic Association named her the top female athlete in1947-48.
