Charlie Spiegel was Transylvania’s head men’ssoccer coach for 17 seasons, beginning in 1980. He compiled arecord 197 wins, against just 113 losses, and 23 ties and he is thewinningest coach in the history of the program. Transy won sevenNAIA District championships and was Area runner-up three timesduring his tenure. Spiegel was an eight-time District Coach of theYear and was nominated for National Coach of the Year on threeoccasions. He was Kentucky’s NAIA Coach of the Year 10times.
