Transylvania University

Edward Franklin Camp Jr. ’30 was a three-sportstandout at Transylvania, playing football, basketball, andbaseball. He played quarterback for Transy teams that won 18 games,including victories over Louisville, Cincinnati, Centre, andEastern Kentucky, and was a captain of the basketball team. He wasa long-time highly successful head football coach at Louisville,earning memberships in both the University of Louisville andKentucky Athletic Halls of Fame.
