M. Vernon Tucker ’37 earned four varsity letters infootball during his Transylvania career, beginning with the 1933season. He also participated in basketball during his career. Whileat Transy, he played on football teams that defeated Louisville,Eastern Kentucky, and Georgetown. He was also a member of the PhiKappa Tau fraternity and the T- Club.
