Parviz Zartoshty ’85 was a four-year letterwinnerfor the men’s soccer team at Transylvania and three times wasnamed its Most Valuable Player. He was named male Pioneer Athleteof the Year in 1981. He was also the first coach of thewomen’s soccer team, leading them into the nationalchampionship game just five years after beginning theprogram.
