Transylvania University

Catherine Benson ’02 was a member of theTransylvania women’s golf team for four years and was athree-time Most Valuable Player. She competed in the NAIA NationalTournament four times, finishing third as a junior and second as asenior, earning All-American recognition. She also won the NAIARegional Championship and was named Pioneer Female Athlete of theYear in 2002.
