The 1999 Transylvania women’s soccer team won 23games in a row and was the No. 1 seed entering the NAIA NationalChampionship Tournament. After losing to Westmont in thechampionship game, the team finished the season ranked No. 4 in thefinal polls. Five players were named to the NAIA All-America team,which recorded 16 shutouts and outscored their opponents 73-11.They remain the only Transy team to play in a national championshipcontest are the first to be inducted into the Pioneer Hall of Fameas a group.
