Transylvania University

Andre Flynn ’85 was a four-year letterman for theTransylvania men’s basketball team. He was named theteam’s outstanding freshman in 1982, was a team captain andMVP in both 1984 and 1985, and was named the Transy Male Athlete ofthe Year in 1984. At the time of his graduation, he was thefourth-leading scorer in the history of the program with 1,670points. He still ranks eighth on the all-time list. He was a NAIADistrict All-American, and he played on Transy’s 1983-84 NAIARegional Tournament team.
