Transylvania University

Tom Browning ’66 was an outstanding baseball andbasketball player during his Transylvania career. He earned a totalof seven letters, four in baseball, and was the Pioneer Athlete ofthe Year in 1964-65. He was recognized for his home-run hitting atTransy and later signed a professional baseball contract with theHouston Astros organization.
