Wallace “Wally” Rose ’50 playedbasketball and golf and ran on the track team during hisTransylvania career, lettering in all three sports. He led thebasketball team in scoring four times and was named to theAll-Conference team. He was selected male Pioneer Athlete of theYear in 1949. Rose also served as the official clock operator forthe Transy basketball teams for over three decades.
